German shepherd acrylic painting, size is approximately 4x6 inches. Third attempt at painting with acrylics. What have I learned so far? Mainly that larger formats work better, it's tricky to work detailed at small, textured canvases.

what wonderful expression and i lve the postur eof the ears as if its ehard a favourite dog squeaking, excellent painting of a loveable dog, reminds me of my aunts old dog, Bruno this painting brings back fond memories of my aunts dog

Yes, small is hard. I reccoment ArtBoard for acrylics if you don't like the canvasy texture. :) ArtBoard is smooth, but works the same as canvas for acrylics. Very nice for them.

Oh. Everything I said about the cat painting goes for this too. :D Just gorgeous, and so real. ^.^
