Artist's Comments

This is one of my last commissioned pastel portraits for this year. Natalie is a norwegian trotter of quite a rare colour - she is very light. I photographed her myself, and worked both from one of the photos as well as from my memory to make it look just like her. I hope you enjoy this portrait!

The Warning:
I am not a Christian, I am a Shintoist. And I find the subject of religion touchy.
The Real Sig:

This is beautiful and so realistic! The eye is captivating, and the colors of her coat blend nicely. There's so much attention to detail, the veins in her face, her forelock, whiskers, and the fluffy hair in her ears. I also like the dark background. Lovely piece!
This is very very nice! I like all the deatils you'v put in it.
Which type of paper did you use? And is it soft pastels or oil? Just curius. :D
I'm no horse person, but I still think it is a beautiful animal. :)
